We are a private hospital on the fifth floor of the Kútvölgyi Premium Hospital in Budapest offering the very highest standards of clinical and nursing care across a wide range of specialties in obstetrics, gynecology and clinical genetics.
We provide private services to not only Hungarian patients. The Maternity Birth Clinic is committed to excellence and quality.

ABOUT US

The hospital overlooks the City of Budapest from the Buda hills and is easy to reach from the City and Ferihegy International Airport. With twenty air-conditioned rooms, we aim to make your stay as pleasant and comfortable as possible.

The founding director of the Maternity Private Clinic is Professor Zoltán Papp MD, PhD, DSc, FACOG (hon.). He is a professor of obstetrics/gynecology and clinical genetics at the Semmelweis University Medical School in Budapest. He has been the founding chair of many scientific societies in Hungary. He is a board member for more than 10 international societies and international journals.

Professor Zoltán Papp is distinguished for many important contributions to fetal medicine. As a practicing obstetrician his main interest concerns prenatal diagnosis of fetal anomalies and genetic diseases and as a practicing gynecologist he is mainly interested in special gynecologic operations.

Whether you are an in-patient or out-patient you will be cared for by a team of professionals who are dedicated to ensuring you receive the best possible treatment. All clinical staff including doctors, midwives and pregnancy support professionals have played a role in the births of thousands of newborn infants. The Maternity Birth Clinic is proud to have among its doctors some of the most experienced leading experts in obstetrics, gynecology and fetal medicine in Hungary.

Out-patient service

  • Gynecologic examination with colposcopy, cytology and ultrasound, general gyne checks
  • "Well woman" test
  • Pre-conception tests and counseling
  • Pregnancy care with gynecologic and laboratory examinations and ultrasound
  • Genetic counseling
  • Prenatal chromosome analysis and/or molecular testing (amniocentesis or chorionic villus sampling guided by ultrasound)

Gynecologic operations including, anesthesia, perioperative management, nursing care, histological examination, comfortable private room

Small procedures

Large gynecologic procedures

  • laparotomy for pelvic exploration,
  • vaginal hysterectomy,
  • abdominal hysterectomy,
  • abdominal metroplasty for subseptate (bicornuate) uterus,
  • myoma (fibroid) enucleation,
  • abdominal colpopexy for vaginal vault prolapse,
  • tubal recanalisation,
  • vaginal construction,
  • operative laparoscopy,
  • other adnexal operations, etc.

Extra large gynecologic procedures

  • radical hysterectomy with pelvic lymphadenectomy for cervical cancer,
  • radical vulvectomy with inguinofemoral lymphadenectomy for vulvar cancer, etc.

Birth
Either spontaneous (vaginal) delivery in a one-bed delivery room or operative delivery (Cesarean section) including anesthesia and postoperative nights in a comfortable family room where the mother and the father can enjoy their first days with the newborn infant.

Payment
Payments for out-patients exclusively in cash.
Payments for in-patients either in cash (HUF, EURO, US DOLLAR) or with cards (VISA or MASTERCARD).

Patients with foreign medical insurance may receive medical care through their insurance plan.
